Site work for a civil project in Frankfort, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of December 30, 2024, an awarded general contractor has been confirmed. All trades have been awarded. Construction is anticipated to start mid to late January 2025, weather permitting. The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. The contractor shall furnish and install the necessary equipment to upgrade the existing West Bound rest area pump station in Carter County. Equipment should include: two (2) submersible grinder sewage pumps, lift-out rail systems, new control panel and all other accessories (as detailed below) to make a complete system. Note, all piping within the wet well shall be replaced up to and including the 90-degree elbow where the discharge piping turns to exit the wet well. The new discharge piping will connect to the existing 3 " schedule 40 PVC piping with a restrained Hymax two clamp coupling. All existing equipment shall be removed from the wet well. The wet well should be cleaned and inspected prior to installing any new equipment/piping. All work Shall be done while the rest area is closed for upgrades, this shall be coordinated with the Architect and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. All questions regarding the meaning or interpretation of the bidding documents shall be directed in writing to the purchasing officer. Unless otherwise specified in the Solicitation, questions received less than ten (10) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of bids may not be answered. *This project has been awarded and all trades have been let.
