No definite date for the rebid.**.** The City of Covington is soliciting sealed bids (IFB) is to establish a contract with a qualified contractor to construct a concessions/shelter building at the putt-putt course. Address all inquiries and correspondence regarding this IFB to: Eric Tyree Building Official Email: ETyree@covington.va.us The City of Covington is in need of the service of a contractor that can provide the following: Construction of a 30' X 40' concession / shelter building on an existing footing, with one half of the building being constructed from split face CMU block walls with poured concrete floors and the second half being an open sided shelter constructed of wood framing and support members typical of picnic shelter construction with concrete floors. Roof construction shall have an included projecting eave area adequate to provide shelter from rain for two ADA compliant sidewalks (construction of which shall be part of the project) adjacent to the 40' dimensional sides. The roofing materials shall be architectural shingles with the color matching other structures located at the park site where construction will occur. Interior wall and ceiling shall be of painted CMU or drywall as appropriate to the style of construction with all exterior areas to be covered with T-111 siding. Interior and exterior paint or stain colors shall be selected and approved by the owner during the construction. The interior area shall also contain an equipment room to house any needed equipment to support systems serving the facility that shall include a 200-amp electric service with all needed lighting and branch circuits to serve each area for the intended purpose, plumbing systems, and HVAC equipment. The remaining interior areas of the building shall also contain two ADA assessable restrooms, and two concession areas served by HVAC. One for food concessions with two side sliding windows and a second with two side sliding windows to accommodate the put-put course to be constructed at the site.
