Replacement of Street Light Poles and Fixtures PURPOSE: The City of Hallandale Beach is seeking bids from all interested and qualified Firms ("Proposer") who can provide services for the replacement of street light poles and fixtures for use by the City of Hallandale Beach Public Works Department.Due to the corrosive effects of salt spray between buildings, the existing street light poles along A1A have suffered significant rusting and deterioration. This project involves, but is not limited to, the replacement of street light poles, fixtures, pedestrian fixtures, banner arms, and clamshell bases at various locations along A 1A.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (MQRS): This Bid/Project contains Minimum Qualification Requirements (MQRs) that firms must meet in order to respond. BID BOND: As per Procurement Code Section 23-12 (2) Security Bonds: Each proposer must provide with the submission a Proposal Guarantee/Bond in the form of Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) payable to the City of Hallandale Beach. These funds are not cashed. These funds are retained guaranteeing the firm submitting the proposal will not withdraw the proposal for such period of time as the Commission provides a Resolution for award of contract . PERFORMANCE AND LABOR MATERIALS PAYMENT BOND: Proof of 100% of total contract bonding capacity must be submitted with bid is required. Awarded Contractor must submit bonds no later than fifteen (15) days after receipt of Notification of Award.
