The City of Hallandale Beach is seeking responses for the modernization of two (2) Elevators systems located at City Hall and the Police Department (PD). These elevators were installed in 1994 and are approximately 30 years old. They require updates to enhance their performance and reliability. This modernization project aims to replace outdated components and integrate new technology to meet current safety and operational standards. The City of Hallandale Beach is seeking qualified "Registered Elevator Companies" to provide Elevator Modernization and Maintenance/Repair Services to elevators located in city-owned buildings in the City of Hallandale Beach (City). A "Registered Elevator Company" is a company authorized by the Bureau of Elevator Safety to construct, install, inspect, maintain, or repair any elevator, escalator or other vertical conveyance in Florida. Registered elevator companies must employ at least one Certified Elevator Inspector or person with a current Certificate of Competency. The City intends to award one proposer. The City reserves the right to add, modify, or remove elevators during the term of the Agreement. Should such changes occur, the City and the Contractor shall negotiate any corresponding rate adjustments in a manner consistent with the pricing structure outlined in the Agreement.
