Layne Blvd 18-inch Force Main Replacement Project The City of Hallandale Beach (City) is seeking bids from all interested and qualified Firms who can provide force main replacement services for use by the City of Hallandale Beach Public Works Department. This Project is located within the City of Hallandale Beach service area, in Broward County, Florida. See Drawings for specific location. The scope of work generally consists of, but is not limited, the following:1) Construction of 2,400 ft. of 18-inch PVC C900 force main and associated appurtenances on Egret Drive and Layne Boulevard;2) Construction of 170 ft. of 16-inch ductile iron force main and associated appurtenances in the intersection of E. Hallandale Beach and Layne Boulevards; 3) Connection of new 16-inch ductile iron force main to existing 14-inch force main via tapping sleeve and valve.4) In the intersection of E. Hallandale Beach and Layne Boulevards, connection of new 14-inch ductile iron force main between new 16-inch and existing 14-inch force mains via a tee and tapping sleeve and valve;5) Restoration of roadway and other disturbed areas within the road rights-of-way and easement areas, and other related work. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (MQRS): This Bid/Project contains Minimum Qualification Requirements (MQRs) that firms must meet to be deemed 'Responsive'. These funds are not cashed. These funds are retained guaranteeing the firm submitting the proposal will not withdraw the proposal for such period of time as the Commission provides a Resolution for award of contract. PERFORMANCE AND LABOR MATERIALS PAYMENT BOND: Proof of 100% of total contract bonding capacity must be submitted with solicitation is required. Awarded Contractor must submit bonds no later than fifteen (15) days after receipt of Notification of Award.
