Site work for a water / sewer project in Steele, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work of providing Water System Improvements Valve and Hydrant Replacement DWSRF Project Contract No. 3 will be let under one contract. The principal item of work are detailed herein below. Principal Work: 1. Replace valves and hydrants as specified The contractor is hereby advised that time is of the essence on this project and that the contract time of 200 consecutive calendar days total and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. Liquidated damages will be assessed if contract time is exceeded. The contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages. Doc note : Specifications and Contract Documents on file in the office of the Owner . No refunds will be made except to Prime Contractor Bidders, which shall be refunded for one bid set.
