Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Steele, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Bids Must Be Submitted on Proposal Forms Furnished by the Owner. All Bidders Must Show Evidence of License Before Bidding or Bid Will Not Be Received or Considered by the Owner; the Bidder Shall Show Such Evidence By Clearly Displaying His or Her Current License Number on the Outside of the Envelope in Which The Proposal is Delivered. The scope of work will include all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals, complete in-place, to perform the following Structure No. 3 BIN 021864 Base Bid Remove and replace the existing concrete bridge to include containment and disposal of debris. Construct new concrete bridge as shown by attached plan set. 3. Marshall County Forces to perform approach roadway work. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Proposals and to Waive Technical Errors if, in the Owner's Judgement, the Best Interests of the Owner Will Thereby Be Promoted. No Bid May Be Withdrawn After the Scheduled Closing Time for Receipt of Bids For a Period of Thirty (30) Days. A Certified Check or Bank Draft, Payable to Marshall County Commission, or a Satisfactory Bid Bond Executed by the Bidder And Acceptable Sureties in an Amount Equal to Five (5) Percent Of the Bid, but Not to Exceed $10,000.00 Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish and Pay for Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, Each in the Amount of 100% of the Contract Price. Contractor Shall Be Licensed in Accordance With the State Laws. Proof of Licensure Will Be Required on the Outside of the Bid Envelope Before Bid Will Be Considered. Subcontractors Whose Contracts Exceed $50,000.00 Must Also Be Licensed According To the State of Alabama Law and Show Proof Thereof. The Marshall County Commission Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Any Informalities in the Bidding.
