Request for Qualifications for Trade Contractors for 12 Trade Contractor Packages, for Burnell Hall Renovation, Bridgewater State University. This Project will transform a 66,000 square foot, one-story masonry classroom building into an upgraded and accessible state-of-the-art centralized home for the College of Education and Health Services. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Painting ($328,766); Fire Protection Sprinkler System ($687,120); Plumbing ($948,224); HVAC ($5,745,970); Electrical ($3,849,043). This is a Construction Management at Risk project under MGL CH149A. Interested firms MUST submit a Qualification Statement by the deadline and be prequalified if they are interested in later bidding on the project. DCAMM Certification applies for this process. This Request for Qualifications is the first part of a two-step process for Trade Contractors. First, interested firms must submit the Qualification Statement. Then, at a later date, only prequalified firms will be invited to submit bids for the category of works in which they were prequalified. This Qualification Statement is different from DCAMM Certification. All firms must be qualified for this project, even if they are already DCAMM Certified. The Construction Manager is Commodore Builders LLC.
