Question Deadline 11/01/2024 at 12:00 PM PT Online Q&A Yes The City will enter into a contract with a selected firm to provide the services requested in this Request for Proposals (RFP). Qualified firms that meet the requirements set forth herein and can provide the services requested are encouraged to participate. Scope of Services The City of San Diego Public Utilities Department (hereinafter the "City") manages and operates the wastewater collection and treatment system for the Metropolitan area of southwestern San Diego County. This system collects and treats the wastewater generated by a regional population of 2.3 million, producing approximately 147 million gallons of wastewater per day. This system, referred to as the Metro System, is comprised of 15 cities and districts including the City of San Diego. The City is soliciting a proposal to conduct cleaning services for approximately 2,000 feet of 84-inch Plastic Lined Reinforced Concrete Pipe (PLRCP) influent line from the upstream Junction Structure 169 to the North City Water Reclamation Plant (NCWRP). The City requests proposals from qualified and capable firms who can demonstrate a high degree of technical and operational proficiency required to clean large diameter wastewater pipe within the City's collection system.
