Renovation of a military facility in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
A. Labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation of one (1) new commercial duty vinyl sectional overhead door and roll-up door operator complete with all related hardware and the following benefits (1) Remove and dispose of existing roll-up door (2) Remove and dispose of existing roll-up door operator (3) Install commercial duty steel roll-up door with a tan finish on exterior and door tracks, door approximately 14'2" x 14'1", final door measurements to be determined by contractor and agreed upon with the CM prior to ordering. (4) Connect new roll-up door to door operator and ensure full operation as designed, existing door has electrical supply, if modifications need to be made to the electrical supply that must be coordinated with the Maintenance personnel and CM/ACM. (5) Galvanized steel aircraft grade cables (6) Precision engineered springs for dependable, long-lasting operation (7) Steelball veering safety rollers (8) Inside slide lock for security (9) Weather-strip on the bottom of the door for proper seal (10) Check/test door in presence of CM/ACM in order to ensure door and operator are properly working (11) Provide CM/ACM with all door manufacturer's warranty and service paperwork (12) Clean-up work site daily and remove any job related debris Q&A END DATE 10/29/2024 2:00 PM The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for the SF Roll-Up Door and Operator Replacement - SF Armory located at San Francisco Armory, 100 Armory Drive, San Francisco, CA 94132. Work to include: The Contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform California Army National Guard, San Francisco Armory Roll-Up Door and Roll-up Door Operator Replacement.. A certified Small Business (SB) shall receive a 5% preference on a bid proposal when a responsible non-small business has submitted the lowest priced responsive bid. A certified Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) shall receive a 5% incentive on a bid proposal when a responsible non-DVBE has submitted the lowest priced responsive bid. A. A PAYMENT BOND, Standard Form 807, in the amount of 100% of the contract amount must be submitted by the successful bidder at the time signed contracts are returned to the Military Department if the contract exceeds $25,000.00. B. A PERFORMANCE BOND, in the amount of 100% of the contract amount must be submitted by the successful bidder at the time signed contracts are returned to the Military Department if the contract exceeds $10,000.00 and progress payments will be made. C. A BID BOND, in the amount of at least 10% of the bid amount must be submitted by the contractor with the Proposal Form if the contract exceeds $25,000.00 utilizing a bond form provided by the Surety. All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Joy Lubic, at Joy.Lubic@cmd.ca.gov no later than 2:00 PM on 10/29/2024. Email subject lines must state RFI FOR EVENT# 33023. If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening. The Military Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
