Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope includes replacement of various mechanical, electrical and control equipment, construction of a new force main, install structural components to improve seismic resilience, perform various architectural improvements, replace fencing and add security system components. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, California. SFPUC has determined, in accordance with Cal. Public Contract Code 3400, that certain items are without equal refer to Section 00 21 13 (Instructions to Bidders) The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission authorized the Water System Improvement Program Project Labor Agreement (WSIP PLA) to be extended to the Sewer System Improvement Program (SSIP) and the Auxiliary Water Supply System (AWSS) Pumping Station 2 project. The agreement to extend the WSIP PLA to all SSIP projects and the AWSS project is known as the Extension Agreement. This Project is covered by the WSIP PLA and Extension Agreement (collectively referred to as PLA). The objective of the project is to refurbish the existing sewage pump station located at 100 Sea Cliff Avenue in San Francisco. Class A California Contractors License is required to bid. Furthermore, each listed subcontractor must possess appropriate active licenses for the work each subcontractor will be performing Bid open Docs notes : The Meeting ID is 8781194 5391 and the meetingm Passcode is662353. SFPUC encourages Bidders to complete the Safety Prequalification Web Form at online at least 3-weeks prior to the date of Bid opening in accordance with Section 00 21 13 Instructions to Bidders. Bidders are required to pass the Safety Prequalification prior to SFPUC considering their bid submission complete. SFPUC will notify Bidders that have passed the Safety Prequalification prior to or on the date of Bid opening. Question Deadline 11/21/2024 If a Bidder objects on any ground to any bid specification or legal requirement imposed by this Advertisement for Bids, the Bidder shall, no later than the 10th working day prior to the date of Bid opening, provide written notice to the Manager, Contract Administration Bureau, setting forth with specificity the grounds for the objection. All Bidders shall submit documented Good Faith efforts with their Bids as directed on except those who exceed the above-stated subcontracting requirement(s) by at least 35%. Refer to .
