A certified check or bid bond in the amount of TEN PERCENT (10%) of the bid, but in no case in excess of TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20,000), must be submitted with the bid with a guarantee that if a contract is awarded, the bidder shall execute the contract. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 175, C127 (Affirmative Action Program, Equal Opportunity). Further, the successful bidder must furnish the Policies or Certificates of Insurance required by the Contract Documents. Each bid shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Closter Borough Clerk, bearing the name of the bidder, upon which shall be designated: BID - Solid Waste Transfer Station Services Including the Transfer, Transportation, Delivery and Payment for the Disposal of Solid Waste for the Borough of Closter The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or to accept the bid which in the Borough's judgment shall be in the best interest of the citizens of the municipality. Bids must be prepared and submitted in standard proposal form in the manner designated within the Information to Bidders. ***Bid Event: No bids shall be received other than at the time and place designated herein for their receipt, unless mailed to the Closter Borough Clerk for receipt at the designated time and place.
