The Project includes the following Work: Replacement of seven manual,nonworking, air release valves with new automated air release valves located along approximately 24,000 linear feet of existing force main that beginsnear 4245 US-23, Piketon, Ohio; and runs east, crossing US 23 until it turnssouth to run alongside Wakefield Mound Road; then running east alongsideManufacturing Center Drive before turning north to run alongside PerimeterDrive; continuing north to run alongside Shyville Road; and finally runningwest down Church Road while also continuing north down Shyville Road untilit stops before the intersection with James A. Rhodes Appalachian Highway. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the fullamount of the Bid or Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. CONTRACTOR shall pay wages to each laborer and mechanic at a rate notless than the minimum wages specified in the current wage determination aspublished by the State of Ohio Department of Commerce. The Pike County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject anyor all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deemsadvantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days afterthe time set for reciving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder.
