As of December 27, 2024 project was awarded toRGV Industrial Machine shop and Pumps Llc in the amount of $284,169.55 A. Provide all tools, equipment, materials, permits, supplies, and manufactured items and furnish all labor, transportation, and services including fuel, power, water, lighting, essential communications and incidentals required to construct The Gonzales Water Treatment Plant Bypass and Valve Improvements as shown in the Plans and specified herein. Provide all work, materials, and services not expressly indicated or called for in the Contract Documents that may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the Work at no increase in cost to the Owner. B. The work includes the following as designated in the Plans and described in the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications: Installation of approximately 59 linear feet of 16-inch PC250 ductile iron water line, three 16-inch gate valves, one 16-inch plug valve, one 30-inch butterfly valve and connections to existing water lines. C. Add Alternate: The removal of one existing 24" butterfly valve and installment of one 24" plug valve with actuator. Installation of approximately 59 linear feet of 16-inchPC250 ductile iron water line ,two 16-inchgate valves ,one 16-inchplug valve, one30-inch butterfly valve, and a connection to an existing16-inch ductile iron water line. ADD ALTERNATE NO 1: The removal of an existing 24" butterfly valve, and installation of one 24" plug valve with actuator. Please submit questions for this project by October 25, through online. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check ,or an approved Bidders bond in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum total proposal, payable to the Schertz-Seguin Local Government Corporation without recourse ,as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bond son the forms provided, within ten(10) days after the award of contract. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payments Bonds each in the amount of100% of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as Surety and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of Treasury of the United States, or other Surety or Sureties acceptable to the Owner. Schertz-Seguin Local Government Corporation reserves the right to reject or accept any and all proposals and to waive informalities. Schertz-Seguin Local Government Corporation Council's decision will be final.
