Renovation of a municipal facility in Hokendauqua, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Mickley-Prydun Farm Phase II Renovations Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price shall be submitted with the bid. Additional post-award bonding requirements for this project include a Performance Bond, a Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Maintenance Bond. In general, the Project involves outside repairs to the Two Buildings on the Township-Owned Mickley-Prydun Farm, 3540 Ruch Street, Whitehall, PA 18052. This project is subject to Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Rates. If the Project Wage Rates are modified ten (10) or more days prior to the bid opening, an Addendum will be issued to each Perspective Bidder via Email. The Bidder is also required to Contact and Solicit Services from Minority & Women's Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) and document their Solicitation and Commitment on the Federal Form DCA BHD 168 Statement Form with their Bid Submissions. Whitehall Township reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether any aspect of a bid satisfactorily meets the criteria established in this Request for Bid, to accept either in whole or in part, any one bid or combination of bids, to waive or permit the curing of any immaterial defects informalities or irregularities in a bid as permitted by law, to reject any or all bids with or without cause, and to take any action which the Township deems appropriate. The Township intends to select that bid(s) which, in the sole opinion of the Township is/are most favorable and in the best interests of the citizens of Whitehall Township.
