Sealed Bids will be received by the Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority, 13-15 Linden Avenue East, Jersey City, New Jersey (the "Authority"), for the performance of the following services: Provision of Repair Service and Parts for Combination Sewer Cleaning Machines Bids will have the date and time stamped upon receipt. Bidder is solely responsible for the timely delivery of the bid and no bids shall be considered that are presented after the public call for receiving bids. BIDDER SHALL INCLUDE ONE (1) ORIGINAL AND ONE (1) COPY OF THE BID PACKAGE AND A CD ROM OR USB DRIVE VERSION IN A PDF FORMAT. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check for not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount for the bid or $20,000.00 maximum, whichever is the lesser. Checks shall be made payable to The Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, or to accept the bid for the Contract that, in its sole judgment, best serves the interests of the Authority, in accordance with applicable law. Bids shall hold firm for sixty (60) days after receipt. Mutually agreed upon extensions of time may be made, if necessary, and in accordance with law. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the written consent of The Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority.
