It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that bids are presented to the University Academy Charter High School on the hour and at the place designated. (N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-21(b)) A Bidder on public works for a Board of Education where the cost of the work exceeds $20,000 shall be prequalified as required by The State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) pursuant to J.J.S.A. 18:A:18A-27 through 33, et. Seq. And shall submit with their bid a copy of a valid and active NOTICE OF CLASSIFICATION and a certified copy of the Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts Form. Each bid, the total price of which exceeds $100,000 shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Owner for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total bid, including alternates, not in excess of $20,000. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2, Failure to comply with the bid specifications and to complete and submit al required forms may be cause for disqualification and rejection of bid, according to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-27 et seq.
