Paloma Wash Pedestrian Bridge (CIP 20-13). PROJECT OBJECTIVES The Agency is seeking bid proposals from qualified Contractors to provide a pedestrian bridge installation for the City of Menifee's CIP 20-13: Paloma Wash Pedestrian Bridge Project. The selected Contractor shall perform the Work under the general direction of the Public Works/Engineering Department for the Agency and in collaboration with the City's Engineer/Project Manager and/or assigned staff. This project is partially funded with American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. Bidders and all subcontractors must be registered with Sam.gov at the time of bid (See appendix 1). Buy America/Build America provisions do not apply. Davis Bacon Wage requirements do not apply. PROJECT SCOPE In general, the proposed project will consist of installing a new prefabricated bow steel-truss pedestrian bridge (approximately 174' long and 14' wide), per its associated plans and specifications. Bridge installer must possess a current State of California C-51 Contractor's License. Manufacturing of the prefabricated bridge is being done by a separate contract. Contractor shall coordinate delivery and staging of the prefabricated bridge prior to arrival. Further, the scope includes retaining walls, ramps, walkways, seat walls, plaza paving, fabric canopy framing and post, rails outside the bridge, fences, lighting and electrical, landscaping and irrigations, bridge infrastructure installation, concrete abutments and concrete decking. LOCATION OF WORK The project location spans over the Paloma Wash, a flood control channel, between Central Park and Haun Road, and is approximately 1,400 feet south of Newport Road, Menifee.
