Lowry Community Park - Synthetic Turf Field Job Description. The project includes, but is not limited to the supply and installation of the following: Demolition and Removal Earthwork Site Preparation Protection of Existing Trees Erosion & Sedimentation Control Artificial Turf Sports Field Concrete Flatwork Site Furnishings Sod, Native Seed and Soil Preparation Irrigation Renovations and Tap Upsize The primary improvement will be the addition of an adult-sized synthetic turf soccer field at its center, in place of the existing asphalt parking lot. Site features that complement and support the field use will include shade trees, an open field area for informal play, gathering areas for the community, upgraded irrigation and plentiful on-street parking. The community will have approximately 5 acres of expanded and improved park to run, play, compete with friends on the field and bring new life to the area. The estimated cost for this project is from $1,635,000.00 to $1,720,000.00. The Contract Documents require that all work be completed within 150 Consecutive Calendar Days plus 10 Consecutive Calendar Days for Mobilization after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Failure to complete the work as prescribed shall be considered as a Breach of Contract and subject to Liquidated Damages which are $200.00 per day. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
