Services requested by the Authority must be commenced within five (5) days of notification by the Authority to the Contractor and must be completed within the time specified by the Authority. Bids submitted for the above stated services shall be for a period commencing January 1, 2025 and terminating December 31, 2025. Note: Any project assigned prior to the expiration date hereof will extend the terms of the Contract as it applies to said project through the date of completion and acceptance of the project by the Authority. Notice is hereby given that from time to time the Henry County Water Authority has need for services of an independent state licensed utility contractor who can supply labor and equipment necessary to install, relocate, and rehab water lines and the appurtenances thereto at the request and under the direction of the Authority as an on call indefinite quantity indefinite amount contractor. The Authority is now seeking bids for the performance of services hereinafter described. Labor and equipment necessary to install, relocate, and/or rehab water lines 2" to 24" in diameter, fire hydrants, appurtenances thereto, and the repair of driveways and roads across which water lines are constructed according to the specifications of the Authority on an "as needed" basis. The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any bids and further reserves the right to terminate any contract that it may enter, including but not limited too, if the contractor fails to meet the requirements of the Authority. In addition, the Authority reserves the right to reject any bid or proposal that is nonresponsive or not responsible.
