Henry County Water Authority, hereafter HCWA, is soliciting competitive bids from qualified General Contractors to provide Construction Services for Henry County Water Authority to construct four (4) offices in the shell space of HCWA's Engineering Building. The contractor shall construct four (4) offices, approximately 8'X14' Offices, and Hallways, in the open shell space of HCWA's Engineering Building, and shall consist of: Wall Framing: shall be constructed using 3" 5/8" metal studs 12' high, three (3) office walls and three (3) hallways. Drywall: shall be 1/2 " with 4" insulation. Electrical & Lighting: One (1) ceiling light and dimmer (HCWA SUPPLIES LIGHTS) are in each office, wall outlets in new walls/outlets with drawstrings for IT. Heating & Cooling: Use the open plenum to add four (4) Supplies and three(3) returns from the existing unit. Painting: New walls, door frames, doors are to be stained after installation. Acoustical Ceiling: 2'x2' square fissured tiles to match the existing approximately 600 sq. ft. Doors: four (4) new wood doors/to be stained after installation /frames/hardware. Relocate one (1) existing door. Floor Covering to match existing: Close as possible 2x2 carpet tiles, approximately 600 sq. ft Exit Door: Install One (1) Exterior hallway emergency exit door with Hardware, concrete block wall must be cut for installation. About Henry County Water Authority: The Henry County Water Authority provides water and wastewater service to about 65,000 residents and businesses in mostly unincorporated Henry County, Georgia. Henry County is a community of approximately 240,000 residents southeast of Atlanta. HCWA was created as an independent agency by the Georgia legislature in 1961. Qualifications: Any contractor wishing to submit a proposal and be considered for this solicitation shall be a Licensed Contractor with a minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in a similar scope and service of work. Upon a determination such actions would be in its best interest, HCWA, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to: o Cancel or terminate this ITB at any time. A notice of cancellation will be issued. If the ITB is cancelled, HCWA will not reimburse any Bidder for preparation of its Response.
