Construction Estimate - $3,341,015.19 The furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to resurface 6.31 miles of CR175 from SR53 to CR160, resurface 7.35 miles of CR190 from SR31 to the Hardin/Marion County Line, resurface 5.41 miles of CR209 from the Village of Mt. Victory to CR265, and resurface 6.42 miles of CR265 from CR209 to the Hardin/Marion County Line, Hardin County, Ohio. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. All Bidders shall be ODOT Pre-qualified for the required Work Type. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later that June 28, 2025. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Hardin County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, 614.644.2239. Ohio Revised Code Section 9.31 allows certain conditions where a bid may be withdrawn. Notice of a claim of right to withdraw such bid must be made in writing filed with the contracting authority within two business days after the conclusion of the bid opening procedure. The Board of Hardin County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities in bidding and accept the lowest and best bid.
