El Dorado Irrigation District (District), an irrigation special district organized and existing under the California Irrigation District Law (Water Code 20500, et seq.), hereby gives notice that it is now accepting bids from qualified service providers for cleaning and inspection of multiple potable water storage facilities (tanks and reservoirs), located throughout the District's service area in El Dorado County, CA. The period of the initial agreement will be for 1 year with the option for the General Manager to extend the contract for 4 additional 1 year periods, for a maximum of 5 years. PUBLIC WORKS LAWS. The project is a public works project subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). To be qualified for this project, a contractor must be registered with the DIR. In addition, pursuant to prevailing wage laws, copies of the prevailing wage rates are on file at the District's principal office and are available on request.
