Renovation of a water / sewer project in Wallingford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of January 8, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. The Town of Wallingford is accepting bids for "Wallingford Water Pollution Control Facility Fine Screens Addition". Treatment facility screen area upgrades generally include the addition of two fine screens and a scum concentrator, the replacement of six slide gates, , construction of a room for electrical equipment. The work also includes associated civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, instrumentation and control, and electrical upgrades Bid Security: Certified, treasurer's or cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the value of the bid. The Work shall be substantially completed 550 days after the date when the Contract Time commences. The Work shall be completed and ready for final payment within 610 days after the date when the Contract Time commences The Town of Wallingford is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
