Site work for a water / sewer project in Fort Pierce, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

It is St. Lucie Countys intent to award a construction contract to one qualified bidder to perform construction-related services for a Stormwater Retrofit using 2nd Generation Baffle Boxes. The successful contractor will be expected to provide and install proposed structures and landscaping in accordance with the plan set labeled Design Plans for Sheraton Plaza. The County expects that the resulting Agreement will be funded in whole or in part with funding provided under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). As such, Bidders are responsible for complying with any and all and all applicable federal and state statutes, regulations, policies, guidelines, and requirements. By submitting a bid in response to this ITB, Bidder acknowledges that, in addition to any standard County terms and conditions and other provisions, the resulting Agreement must include the provisions in Attachment A. St. Lucie County is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. Bonding Requirements All Bidders are required to submit a five percent (5%) Bid Bond with the Bid Form, or their bid shall be rejected as non-responsive. A one hundred percent (100%) Public Construction Bond for both payment and performance is required upon notification of St. Lucie Countys intention to award the contract to the apparent successful bidder. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor irregularities; reject any and all bids/proposals which are incomplete, conditional, obscure, or which contain additions not allowed for; accept or reject any proposal in whole or in part with or without cause; and accept the proposal which best serves the County. Bid date info : Any bids received after the above stated time shall be returned to the bidder unopened. Bidders shall submit ONE (1) MARKED ORIGINAL AND TWO (2) PHOTOCOPIES OF THE COMPLETED BID PACKAGE in a sealed envelope. The Project Name, Bid Number, and time and date of the Bid opening shall be clearly marked on the outside of the sealed envelope. Facsimile responses shall not be accepted. Bidders may submit questions via email to Desiree Cimino at ciminod@stlucieco.org no later than 5:00 p.m. on November 1, 2024. Confirming the final compleOon date is 240 days.
