City of Bolivar will be soliciting bids for Sewer System Rehabilitation Phase I on the property located at Bolivar, Tennessee. The Sewer System Rehabilitation Phase I is a utility improvement project with several functions for the Bolivar, Tennessee community. Project includes rehabilitation of the existing sewer collection system. Rehabilitation methods include cured in place pipe, point repairs, and linear repairs. The project also replaces an existing 4 force main along South Polk Street This project is being supported American Rescue Plan Act, Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Fund grant funding. Therefore, certain restrictions and other federal requirements attach to this opportunity. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of his bid and shall, before entering on the work of said contract, be licensed as a contractor of the City of Bolivar. Bids must be submitted with envelope label (provided in the bid documents) affixed to the front of the envelope. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
