Renovation of a library in Spencer, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Documents available 10/22/2024. The scope of work includes but is not limited to, the following: Reinforcing the existing roof structure, repairing existing gutters, replacing existing down spouts, replacement of the existing shingle roof, and repairs to the existing shingle roof. The scope also includes the removal and replacement of the existing ceiling finishes needed to install the reinforcing. Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 149. DCAMM Certification is required for this project if Bid Price is $150,000 or greater. 5% Bid Bond is required. The estimated cost of this project is $612,111. Any questions about this IFB should be directed in writing to Peter Boria, Utilities and Facilities Superintendent, by email to: pboria@spencerma.gov. All questions are to be received Friday, November 15, 2024, at 2:30 pm for General Bids. The Town of Spencer reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, to reject any/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the Town.
