The project includes but is not limited the following approximate construction quantities: Installation of electrical circuit associated with parking lot including 1,000 LF of 1" Schedule 80 PVC conduit, 1,000 LF of #10 Wire, 5 handholes, and 10 LED light poles with concrete bases. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids received. All questions regarding this bid should be submitted in writing (mail, fax, or email) to the Engineer, McFarland Johnson, at aerdmann@mjinc.com and copy the County Purchasing Department, at purchasing@jeffersoncountyny.gov. No verbal questions (in person, phone, etc.) will be answered. A Bid deposit in the form of a check, money order, or certified funds, payable to Jefferson County Treasurer, or a bid bond issued by an insurance company licensed to do business in New York State shall accompany the bid. All bid deposits will be held by the Jefferson County Treasurer until an award has been made, and contracts have been executed. A Performance Bond, Material Bond or Payment Bond shall be required prior to contract execution in an amount and form acceptable to the County. Amount of Performance Bond or Payment Bond must be equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the amount bid. The bond shall be maintained in force for a period of twelve (12) months after date of physical completion, and acceptance by the County, as a guarantee that the Contractor will make good any faults or defects in the work arising from improper or defective workmanship or materials which may appear during that period.
