The Town of Miami Lakes (the "Town") will be accepting sealed Responses for professional engineering and related services for the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Comprehensive Vision Zero Safety Action Plan ("Services"). Proposers must submit one (1) original and four (4) copies of their Proposal with original signatures together with a copy of the Proposal on a Flash Drive. Scope of Services: The Goal of the Miami Lakes Comprehensive Vision Zero Safety Action Plan is to provide a methodical approach to the implementation of countermeasures and policies aimed at reducing and, ultimately, eliminating fatalities and serious injuries for all users of the Town's roadways, sidewalks, and bike facilities by the year 2050. The Town envisions an Action Plan that identifies and prioritizes safety for all users. The Town will contract a qualified Consultant with related experience to directly support the execution and activities of the Action Plan, including Categorical Exclusions (CEs) NEPA activities, public engagement, data analysis, and safety and equity considerations. The Action Plan will establish an eventual goal of zero roadway fatalities and serious injuries and be adopted by the Town Council. Minimum Qualification Requirements: To be eligible for award, proposers must: o Be an engineering or planning firm licensed in the State of Florida. All professional services shall be performed under the direction of a professional registered with the State of Florida and qualified in the specific field; o Be experienced in providing planning, transportation, traffic and related engineering design services; and o Possess a minimum of five (5) years' experience in performing professional engineering and related services for similar projects. All Proposals must be submitted in accordance with Sections 2 & 5 of this RFQ. Any Proposal received after the specified time and date will not be considered.
