Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Miami Lakes, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 15,672-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

As of June 19, 2025 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on July 15, 2025. The Town of Miami Lakes (Town) is soliciting bids from responsible and experienced contractors to provide all labor, materials, services, skills, supervision, tools, and equipment necessary to provide demolition services as specified herein, where demolition cost is estimated not to exceed $300,000. Contractors shall have the capability to perform and complete the services in accordance with the terms and provisions of the solicitation documents and the contract. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, services, skills supervision, tools, and equipment necessary to demolish a two-story office/warehouse building containing approximately 15,672 square feet. Information on the existing building's construction can be found in Exhibit B - Appraisal Report page 27. Bidders must carefully review all the materials contained herein and prepare their Bids accordingly. The detailed requirements set forth below will be used to evaluate the Bids and failure of a Bidder to provide the information requested for a specific requirement may render their Bid non-responsive and will result in rejection. Minimum Requirements to Submit a Response: To be eligible for award of this project, bidders must: Possess a minimum of three (5) years of experience providing demolition services; Bidders are required to submit with their bid a statement of work experience and inventory of existing equipment. Must have completed at least three (3) projects of similar size, scope and complexity performed within the last three (3) years; Possess a valid General Contractor or General Engineering Contractor license from the State of Florida, Certified in Miami- Dade County and qualified to obtain the necessary permits; Must self-perform thirty percent (30%) of multiple trade work. The Town will consider a Bid as responsive where a Bidder has less than the stipulated minimum number of years of experience solely where the Bidder has undergone a name change and such change of name has been filed with the State of Florida. Question Deadline 05/26/2025 Any questions concerning the substance of this or any other solicitation advertised by the Town must be submitted in writing to procurement@miamilakes-fl.gov while the Cone of Silence is in effect. No other communications, oral or otherwise, will be accepted. Failure to comply with the Cone of Silence may result in the rejection of a Submittal.
