A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Florida State University seeks a Design Professional partner for the architectural and engineering design of an expansion and renovation to its Middleton Golf Center (Center). The existing facilities currently house teaching and storage space for the FSU Dedman College of Hospitality, the Men's and Women's golf team locker rooms, offices and meeting space, and the Seminole Legacy Golf Club restaurant, golf shop, bathrooms/locker rooms, and golf cart storage. The scope of the project includes constructing a new building in adjacent land to provide enhanced teaching, meeting, and administrative space for the College of Hospitality and to provide modernized Golf Club amenities. In addition, the project will remodel the interior of the existing buildings to provide a new iconic atrium, a FSU golf hall of fame, updated restaurant, and state-of-the-art golf team locker rooms and practice facilities. The new and updated facilities are intended to be a multidisciplinary ecosystem for students, educators, student-athletes, and recreational golfers fueling innovation, discovery, and professional advancement. This project will move forward contingent on receiving grant funds. This project will be conducted in compliance with the requirements identified in Code of Federal Regulations, Chapter 2, Part 200, Subpart D - Procurement Standards. Contractors should pay particular attention to Build America, Buy America Requirements. The selected firm will assist in site selection, master planning, and facility programming. The firm will be asked to suggest the optimum site layout and building footprint, provide recommendations for site access and parking, and manage other aspects of the site design.
