7 Bridges Road CSO Basin Improvements. The Project consists of removing sludge, raising basin berms, installing a pumping system, and completing other improvements to the 7 Bridges Road CSO Basin. Site Address: 7 Bridges CSO Basin Site Directions: 7 Bridges CSO Basin, nearest cross streets are 7 Bridges Rd and Park Ave Description: This project will consist of removing sludge (alternate task), raising basin berms, completing basin improvements, and installing a basin dewatering pumping system at the City of Moberly's 7 Bridges Road CSO Basin. Primary site tasks include: o Mobilization of equipment and labor sufficient to complete the Work o Sediment and erosion controls o Traffic and pedestrian safety controls o Complete dewatering and water control within the basin sufficiently to complete the work o Sludge removal, loading, and hauling to an owner-approved disposal location (Alternate Task) o Land applying the sludge and incorporating it into the soil using chisels or knives o Raising basin berms approximately 2 to 3 feet o Completing outlet structure modifications and upgrades o Install basin dewatering structure and pumping system o Install associated piping for pumping system o Install associated electrical cable and components to power the pumping system and instrumentation o Upgrade instrumentation and monitoring system o Site restoration of disturbed areas and site cleanup o Demobilization Bid security shall be furnished in the amount of 5% of the bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Contractor shall not perform these tasks until written approval has been issued by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and Owner. A Missouri Department of Natural Resources Construction Permit is required prior to completion of multiple basin improvement tasks. Contractor shall not perform these tasks until a Construction Permit has been issued by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. A Floodplain Development Permit is required prior to completion of multiple basin improvement tasks. Contractor shall not perform these tasks until a Floodplain Development Permit has been issued by the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency. Document notes Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above, upon non-refundable payment of $100 for each set. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "City of Moberly". Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Download delivery fee is $22.00, file size is 20 MB . Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below MBE (4.0%), WBE (6.9%) The Work will be substantially completed on or before October 15, 2025 ; final completion -December 31, 2025. Question Deadline 11/07/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered . 1. Mobilize (move) and demobilize labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and temporary facilities. 2. Furnish all insurance and bonds required specifically for this Work. 3. Obtain necessary permits prior to performing the Work. 4. Provide project management and perform project coordination, provide updates, and attend all required project meetings. 5. Provide oversight and supervision for Contractor's personnel and Subcontractors. 6. Provide temporary facilities and utilities. 7. Furnish all submittals described in these specifications. 8. Provide on-site health and safety requirements. 9. Maintain haul roads and provide dust control for Contractor's operations. 10. Locate existing utilities and underground facilities. 11. Maintain a clean and orderly Work Site on a daily basis throughout the duration of the Work. 12. Perform site preparation of work extents and construction staging areas. 3. Furnish, install and maintain temporary erosion prevention and sedimentation control measures for the Work in accordance with the Drawings, Specifications, and local, state, and federal regulations. 14. Alternate 1 - Perform sludge removal activities. Dewater the basin as necessary to complete sludge removal. Remove, load, haul, and place sludge in designated disposal locations as required by Drawings and Specifications. 15. Perform clearing and grubbing as required, including removal and proper disposal of all materials from the site. Clearing and grubbing of the construction areas may require removal of trees and complete root removal. 16. Strip and stockpile topsoil. 17. Contractor shall perform all survey work necessary for construction of the Work including, but not limited to, setting construction stakes, maintaining benchmarks, stationing, and determining the limits of the materials within the embankments as well as the elevations beyond initial survey by Owner. 18. Perform excavation, embankment and grading work. Excavate, load, haul, place and compact all materials as required for construction. 19. Furnish and install infrastructure including proposed pumping system from CSO Basin to existing 7 Bridges pump station. 20. Removing and replacing perimeter fence around CSO Basin. 21. Remove and replace 18" outlet pipe with 24" RCP outlet pipe. 22. Alternate 2 - Place geotextile and Type 2 riprap on the inside slope of the CSO Basin. 23. Furnish and install instrumentation as required by Drawings and Specifications. 24. Perform site restoration of all disturbed areas as necessary during and after construction. 25. Remove and properly dispose of all temporary erosion and sediment control features after site is stabilized. 26. Removing (demobilizing) all equipment, surplus materials, fencing, temporary utilities, etc. from the Project site after it is no longer necessary. 27. Removing trash and debris related to the Work within the construction limits at the completion of the Work.
