New Fire Station Construction Project The City of Moberly, Missouri has acquired USDA Rural Development funding for their Fire Station project that will include greenfield construction of a new station and training tower. As part of the application process, the City must have an environmental report meeting USDA guidelines prepared for USDA approval. The City of Moberly is requesting proposals for preparation of the environmental report for their Fire Station and training tower to be funded by USDA-Rural Development. The City has a preliminary architectural report, and copies will be available to the selected firm, or entity, that is awarded the bid. The proposed project generally consists of the following: Development of a three acre greenfield site, including construction of a new approximately 7,700 square foot fire station and training tower Anticipated services may include consultation with state and federal agencies regarding NEPA evaluations, lead paint evaluation and testing, asbestos evaluation and testing, and addressing all other USDA environmental reporting requirements. The environmental report must be completed no later than 3 months after the award of the project proposal.
