The Housing Authority of the City of Dover, Arkansas, hereinafter called the "Dover Housing Authority or DHA", will receive bids for General Repairs/Construction in accordance with the Specifications. (Note: Dover Housing Authority is under management by Clarksville Housing Authority; therefore, bid openings and administrative work will generate from Clarksville.) (Reminder - DHA is under CHA Management.) Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened. This project falls under the Dover Housing Authority Procurement Policy category of less than $100,000 which means the DHA may use "small purchase procedures" to obtain bids/quotes for this project. Specifications are for: o Expansion of Concrete Parking Bays o Curb Removal/Replacement o Sidewalks Repair/Replacement and New Construction o Removal of Non-ADA Ramp o Construction of Two (2) Dumpster Pads There will be no fees involved when requesting a copy of the Specifications. Specifications will be sent electronically (e-mail) when possible. All bids/quotes must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked to show: o Name/Address of Bidder o Job Number o Date and Time of Bid Opening Bidders are required to have an Arkansas Contractor's License. This is in accordance with Arkansas State Statute 71-701 et. seq. Each bid submitted must contain the following items: 1. Bids/Quotes preferably should be submitted on bidder's company letterhead (or similar); but must include Company Name, Contact Name, Address, Telephone Number, Federal Tax ID Number and/or Social Security Number and must be signed by bidder. If possible, include an e-mail address. 2. Bidder will need to provide proof of: a. General Liability Insurance b. Arkansas Contractor's License The Dover Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. No bids/quotes may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. All bidders must comply with the requirements of the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Arkansas.
