furnishing all labor, material, and equipment, and performing all work required for the following: Type II Asphalt (in place) $ /TON Asphalt Binder (in place) $ /TON Milling $ /S.Y. Concrete Form and Finishing $ /S.Y. Concrete Curb and Gutter $ /L.F. Class A Concrete $ /C.Y. Class S Concrete $ /C.Y. Delivery Charge Less than 3 C.Y. $ The attention of bidders is called to the fact that Act 150 of 1965 (as amended), Arkansas Statutes, states that a Contractor must be licensed by the State Licensing Board for Contractors before he may undertake work when the cost thereof in Arkansas is Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) or more. The City of Clarksville encourages participation of small, minority, and woman owned business enterprises in the procurement of goods, services and construction, either as a general contractor or subcontractor. It is further requested that whenever possible, majority contractors who require sub-contractors seek qualified small, minority and woman owned businesses to partner with them. Proposals will be considered on the basis of cost, the bidder's financial responsibility, his equipment, and his past performance in completing similar work. The City of Clarksville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any formalities, and to accept the proposal deemed to be for their best interest.
