Briefly, the work of the Project is described as replacement of existing water-cooled condensing units along with related improvements to the building heating and cooling system, including replacement of terminal units, control systems, duct replacement, and electrical work, according to the design furnished by the Bidder. The bid must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. Prior to contract award, an original copy of the bond must be delivered to LCOG directly or by registered mail addressed to Michael Wisth, Government Services Director. The successful contractor will be required to furnish 100% performance and payment bonds in the form required by the IFB documents. Bidders submitting a bid electronically must include a facsimile of a properly executed bid bond with the electronic bid. Each contractor submitting a bid must be licensed with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) as a commercial general contractor level 1. No bid will be considered unless that bid contains a statement by the contractor that the contractor will comply with ORS 279C.840 regarding payment of prevailing rates of wage. Within two working hours after the date and time when bids are due as stated above, each bidder must submit to LCOG a disclosure of the first-tier subcontractors in the form provided herein, as required by ORS 279C.370.
