For design build services in connection with the design, renovation and construction of improvements to the City s Community Center located at 179 Dell Street, Elsmere, Kentucky 41018. All proposals must be submitted to the City Clerk on the forms provided by the City and in accordance with the proposal instructions, as set forth in the City s Request for Proposals Elsmere Community Center Design, Renovation, and Construction. The City will use the following general criteria in selecting a designer/builder: (a) Qualifications of the designer/builder as evidenced by the technical training, education and experience of the personnel within the firm who would be assigned to the Project; (b) ability of the designer/builder s professional personnel; (c) total cost/value to the City, including the Design-Builder s proposed hourly rates charged for the design phase of the Project; (d) current workload of the designer/builder; and (e) availability to start construction. The City encourages small and minority businesses and women s business enterprises to respond to this solicitation. The City reserves the right to not only reject any and all proposals submitted in response to this advertisement and solicitation, for any reason or not reason; but in particular those proposals that are not in conformity with either the proposal instructions or the specifications provided by the City, but also to accept proposals submitted in response to this advertisement that do not conform to those proposal instructions and specifications. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The value range for this project is between $215,000 to $245,000.
