Installation of 4510 ft 12" water line b. Installation of 900 ft 6" water line c. Water Main Line (Including Valves, Fire Hydrants, and Servile Connections) d. The allotted time for construction is 180 calendar days Bid Guaranty (Bid Bond): The Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty that shall not be less than 5 percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid, and at the option of the Bidder may be a Certified Check, bank draft, U. S. Government Bonds at par value, or a Bid Bond secured by a surety company. Certified check or bank draft must be made payable to the order of the Owner. The Bid Guaranty shall insure the execution of the Contract and the furnishing of performance and payment bond or bonds by the successful Bidder all as required by the specifications. If the successful Bidder withdraws his Bid within sixty (60) days of the Bid Opening, then his Bid Bond will automatically be forfeited to the Owner. Performance and Payment Bond, Execution of Contract: Subsequent to the award and within ten days after the prescribed forms are presented for signature the successful Bidder shall execute and deliver to the Owner a Contract in the form furnished in such number of counterparts as the Owner may require. Bid Forms and Bid Preparation: A State Contractor's license will be required for work over $25,000. No bidder may withdraw his bid within (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
