The County of Volusia, Public Works Department, Coastal Division is seeking a single, responsive and responsible bidder for the construction of Berm Restoration North of Ponce de Leon Inlet - USACE 2024 Ponce Inlet and ICWW Maintenance Dredging Material Beneficial Use located at Beach Safety Headquarters, 3rd Floor Conference Room, 515 S. Atlantic Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida 32118. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to become familiar with the site. A Bid bond shall accompany each Bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid amount and shall be valid for a period not less than one hundred twenty (120) days. a bidder to whom a Contract has been awarded must deliver to the County, executed, separate Payment and Performance Bond on the prescribed forms, each in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price of the accepted Bid proposal as security for the faithful performance of his Contract and for the payment of all persons performing labor or furnishing materials in connection therewith. The County reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or any part of any Bid, to waive any informality in any Bid, or to re-advertise for all or part of the Work contemplated.
