Last Date of Inquiries:March 12, 2025, 4:00pm The Clay County Board of County Commissioners (County) is seeking a qualified Contractor to perform specified repairs to the Fuel Island Canopy located at 5 Esplande Avenue ~ Green Cove Springs, Florida. The Contractor shall perform the following to replace tube columns for stabilizing the current structure and redirecting storm water drainage for the Fuel Island Canopy located at 5 Esplande Avenue ~ Green Cove Springs, Florida: o Remove existing columns and install four (4) new columns o Install two (2) downspouts next to two (2) columns identified in the site plan found on Attachment G; capping the two (2) columns that coexist with the two (2) downspouts New columns must assist with strengthening of the existing steel beams, following load bearing code(s) to support existing canopy. Liquidated Damages The Contractor shall be assessed Liquidated Damages (LD) of $100.00 for each day past final completion date set in the Notice to Proceed. Performance and Payment Bonds are not required for projects of $200,000.00 or less. This project includes all associated work listed below, and shall be constructed per the plans and specifications attached. Columns shall be installed for stabilizing the current structure and gutters for redirecting storm water drainage. New columns will assist with strengthening the existing steel beams, following load bearing code(s) to support existing canopy. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary labor and materials, including any not explicitly stated in this scope of work, to ensure the successful completion of the project
