The University is constructing security improvements at residence halls in summer of 2025. The Work includes seven locations and may be expanded to include additional sites in a future year. Work is planned for buildings in the Superblock at Pioneer, Territorial, Frontier, and Centennial Halls and in Dinkytown at Sanford, Wilkins, and Keeler Halls. The scope of Work varies by site, but generally includes in varying degree; renovation of the building main entry, reception desk, and staff offices, installation of electronic security turnstiles and barriers, accessibility improvements, and installation of video intercom systems. Scopes for each site are described in more detail in the included predesign plans. Construction Manager Services for security enhancements at the residence halls located throughout the Twin Cities campus.
