Westwego Waterline Improvements Project Without limiting the scope of work described herein, the proposed bid provides for the installation of waterline and valving to tie in the entire Westwego Water System Network. Contractors final questions regarding plans or specifications are to be submitted to David Boyd of Burk Kleinpeter Inc. at dboyd@bkiusa.com, by close of business Thursday, October 31, 2024. All bidders must show the Project Name and their Louisiana Contractors License Number on the outside of their bid envelope. Late bids will not be accepted. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid surety bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, and payable without condition to the owner. This project will be Sales Tax Free in accordance with LSA-R.S. 47:301(8)(C). The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond guaranteeing faithful performance of the contract. Companies providing the bonds shall comply with the requirements of LRS-R.S. 38:2218 and R.S. 38:2219 as applicable.
