Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Bridge City, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The project consists of removal of existing modified bitumen roof systems down to lightweight insulating concrete deck and replacement with new modified bitumen roof membrane system. Replace existing metal P.E.M.B. roof and wall panels with new standing seam metal panel roof and new corrugated metal wall panels. Remove all damaged P.E.M.B. eave struts and replace them with new eave struts. Replace all existing metal gutters and downspouts. Replace all wall-mounted exhaust fans. All bids must be in accordance with the contract documents on file with the Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department. Each bid must be accompanied by an electronic bid surety bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, payable without condition to the owner, and must be submitted through the designated online clearinghouse bond management system. No scanned paper copies of any bid bond will be accepted. The successful bidder will be required to furnish both a payment bond and a performance bond guaranteeing faithful performance of the contract. A complete set of drawings and specifications may be secured by licensed contractors upon receipt of a non-refundable fee for an electronic or hard copy set. The Jefferson Parish Council reserves the right to reject all bids and to reject bids for just cause. Involvement of small businesses, minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and veteran-owned businesses is strongly encouraged. Question Deadline 04/24/2026 No oral interpretation will be made to any bidder as to the meaning of the drawings, specifications, or contract documents. Every request for such interpretation shall be made in writing and addressed and forwarded to the Engineer, Architect or person distributing plans and specifications. No inquiry received within five (5) days prior to the day fixed for opening of the bids will be given consideration
