The City of Bakersfield is seeking applications from community agencies for professional services for administration and implementation of a home repair and weatherization program. The City of Bakersfield was awarded Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLRF), a part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), to support the response to and recovery from the COVID-19 public health emergency. The Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) provide resources for governments to meet the public health and economic needs of those impacted by the pandemic in their communities, as well as address longstanding health and economic disparities, which amplified the impact of the pandemic in disproportionately impacted communities.
