Renovation of a residential development in Norwood, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Electrical, Painting, Plumblng, and Resilient Flooring Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Project consists of but not limited to: Kitchen renovations to 95 apartment units located within (6) 2-story buildings. There are 90 typical standard kitchen layouts and 5 accessible kitchen layouts. Work consists of removal and replacement of existing flooring and wall base with new LVT plank flooring and wall base. Also, the removal and replacement of existing kitchen cabinetry and countertops with new cabinetry and solid surface countertops. The existing ceiling soffits will be modified in order to install new wall cabinetry throughout all 95 units. Existing Refrigerators and Electric ranges will be salvaged and re-used. All other Kitchen appliances will be removed and replaced with new appliances. All existing Kitchen outlets will be converted to GFI protected outlets along with all required Electrical upgrades as indicated on drawings. The work is estimated to cost $1,000,000.00. Resilient Flooring - Massfloors Inc - $70,884.37 Painting - JMS PAINTING CORP - $51,600.00 Plumbing - Robert W. Irvine & Sons, Inc - $148,480.00 Electrical Work - M-V Electrical Contractors, Inc - $151,770.00 MBE (1.6%), WBE (6.9%) A. The Work of the Contract consists of: 1. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. B. Execution of Work: Work to be performed in timely and workmanlike fashion. Site must be cleaned up daily with access needed for overnight. C. Warranties/Guaranties: 1-year installation warranty from the General Contractor on all Work performed. Standard manufacturer material and equipment warranties.
