Provide the necessary manpower to perform the installation of telecommunication equipment cabling and services to residential and commercial dwellings. All materials will be supplied by The Norwood Light Department, Broadband Division, unless otherwise specified. 3.2. The estimated service drop count is expected to be between two thousand five hundred (2500) and five thousand five hundred (5500) of overhead, MDU and underground construction types. 3.3. Unless otherwise specified by NLB, an optical drop will be installed from a CommScope Hardened Standard Terminal (HST) located at a pole or MDU/UG location to a Network Interface Device (NID) mounted on the exterior of the customer’s premises. The premises will be equipped with an Optical Network Unit (ONU) provided by NLB, installed inside and connected to the NID via fiber. The ONU will connect to a Mesh Wi-Fi device (provided by NLB) or a customer-owned router using a Cat 6 cable. Additional equipment, such as video streaming devices, customer-owned telephones, telephone networks, or other telephone devices (including key systems, PBXs, assisted hearing devices, etc.), will connect through appropriate cabling or connectivity solutions. 3.4. The installer is responsible for ensuring that all Wi-Fi-connected devices within the premises successfully connect to the new Wi-Fi network and that all telephones are operating correctly. Additionally, the installer may assist the customer with the initial setup of video streaming services or ensure the customer can reconnect to previously established video streaming services. 3.5. Installers will also be required to perform other services including, though not limited to the following. 3.5.1.Troubleshoot Service drops from the HST to the CPE. 3.5.2.Troubleshoot WiFi connectivity issues. 3.5.3.Swap CPE Devices 3.5.4.Add CPE Devices 3.5.5.Move existing wiring 3.5.6.Repair or replace existing wiring
