Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Norwood, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Repaving of parking lot and basketball court/pickleball court and tennis courts. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. SCOPE OF WORK The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: • Removal of existing asphalt by cold planer • Excavation to install new pavement area • Excavation of existing bituminous and concrete walkways • Installation of gravel subbase as needed • Fine grading and compaction of gravel subbase as needed • Remove and replace castings as directed • Installation of new granite curbing • Installation of new cement concrete walkways and ADA ramps • Install new 8” and 12” HDPE drain pipe • Install drain manhole • Install Stormcepter catch basin • Install bituminous concrete binder and wearing courses with monolithic berm • Installation of thermoplastic pavement markings • Loam and seed all disturbed areas with specified seed
