Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Westbank, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Westbank First Nation ("WFN") is seeking proposals from qualified Proponents ("Proponents") in response to this Request for Proposals ("RFP") for the provision of Goods and Services (as defined herein) to be carried out within the required schedule set out herein for the replacement of Playground Equipment - Daycare (the "Project") located at the Westbank Child Development Centre at 3522A Shannon Lake Road, Westbank, BC V4T 1V4. The current playground equipment at the Westbank Child Development Centre has been in place for approximately 20 years. The equipment is a combination of Alumnium-Plastygo play structures, Stringer Mount Systems as well as recycled plastic parts, coasted steel cables, pressure-treated lumber, galvanized steel components and other various materials commonly found on commercial playground equipment. The current Surfacing of the playground is a mixture of pea gravel and yard sand and will need to be removed and replaced with play safe surfacing meeting CSA Standards. To the east side of the building, there are utilities and infrastructure that are orphaned underground and not included in BC One Call. Any and all works will not negatively impact existing drainage or overland water flow. Locate work should be allowed to identify any legacy infrastructure prior to digging in the playground area.
