The City of Grapevine is soliciting sealed bids from qualified vendors for a fixed priced annual contract for Hot Mix Asphalt to be ordered on an as needed basis by the Public Works Department. This contract shall be for an initial one-year period with options to renew for four additional one-year periods. The annual contract start date will be sometime after City Council approves the award which will be in December 2024. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidders meeting or exceeding specifications. The intent is to award multiple contracts for the bid, the City reserves the right to award separate contracts to separate bidders for each item if deemed in the best interest of the City that meet or exceed specifications in accordance with the provisions of the current Texas Local Government Code Title 8. No Pre-bid meeting will be held. Carefully read all instructions, requirements and specifications. Submit your bid electronically through the Procurement system and include all required document submittals. All questions regarding the terms, conditions or specifications of this bid must be submitted by 10:00 a.m. by October 27, 2024, through the system. All questions that will affect the bid specifications in a material way will be answered and submitted to all bidders via Procurement system. Addendums will be issued if required and sent through the Procurement system to all bidders that received the bid.
