Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Marion, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum; for site work for a museum; for paving for a museum; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Estimate for the project is 160,000. Bidders will be asked to bid unit pricing with prioritization on masonry work on the south and east walls and sidewalks on S. State St. Additional work will be performed if economically feasible Bid date notes: At that time will be publicly opened and tabulated A bid guaranty, as required by Section 153.54 of the Revised Code of Ohio shall accompany each proposal submitted as follows, either: 1. A certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid. A letter of credit may only be revocable by the Owner. OR 2. A bond or certified check for the full amount of the bid. Either will be retained for the successful bidder or returned to unsuccessful bidders after the contract is executed. A certified check must include a one (1) year warranty on the materials and on the construction work. Attention of the bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum federal prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109 and E.O. 11246, and local bidder rules. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of opening thereof. All bids shall be properly signed by an authorized representative of the bidder. All bids shall be sealed and plainly marked Heritage Hall Masonry Restoration. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted and waive any irregularities.
